About Us
Just 5 Teachers is comprised of 5 teachers working in the field of education with more than 100 years of combined experience. Our backgrounds include: general education teacher, resource teacher, self-contained behavior teacher, middle school alternative education teacher, residential family teacher and elementary administrator.
We are passionate about working with students with behavioral needs and currently work at
Brook Valley South, a Level III school in La Vista, Nebraska.

20+ years in education, 13 years in general education (k-5), 7 years in administration and 6+ years in EBD self-contained (6-12)
Kristen McKearney
17+ years in special education, 15 years in an elementary resource setting, 2+ years in an EBD/ACP self-contained setting.
Sallye Lee
20+ years in education, 8 years in residential treatment, 12 years in an elementary resource setting and 3+ years in an EBD self-contained, primary (K-2)
Steph Kopecky
16+ years in special education, 14 years in an elementary resource setting, 2+ years in an EBD/ACP self-contained setting.
